Lisa Thomas, PA-C
Lisa graduated from Marquette University with honors with a Bachelors degree in Medical Technology. She worked in a toxicology laboratory at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland for several years before returning back to Wisconsin where she worked at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin while earning a Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Lisa met and worked with Dr. Manjoney previously, when she worked as a cardiothoracic Physician Assistant. She developed a great deal of experience in vein surgery during her 10 year tenure as a cardiothoracic Physician Assistant prior to her role at Wisconsin Vein Center and Medispa. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Wisconsin Academy of Physician Assistants (WAPA). Trained in phlebology, Lisa takes great pride in performing vein consults and vein treatments including laser closures, phlebectomies, and sclerotherapy treatments. She is certified in laser and intense pulse light treatments used in phototherapy (for skin rejuvenation), hair removal, skin tightening, and tattoo removal.
Lisa Newman RN, BSN
Lisa graduated from Marian College of Nursing in 1998. She spent eight years as a critical care nurse at St. Luke’s Medical Center and one and a half years as a nurse in the operating room at Aurora Medical Center-Washington County. She is certified in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support. She specializes in skin care, non-surgical cosmetic enhancement and cosmetic vein treatments. Lisa has received two Aurora Stars for providing exceptional patient care.
Leanne Gundrum, RN
Leanne joined the Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa with a background in Plastic Surgery. She is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses, a member of the Association of Medical Esthetic Nurses, and is certified by the Esthetic Skin Institute in the art of dermal fillers and Botox injections. Other services include skin consults, Accent treatments, laser hair removal, AFT, chemical peels, and dermaplaning. She assists Dr. Manjoney with vein consultations and surgeries.
Eva Morris, RN, CPSN
Eva is a Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse and graduate of Cardinal Stritch University. She has spent the past 15 years of her nursing career in the plastic surgery field and working in the art of facial aesthetic injectibles. Eva worked at the Wisconsin Vein Center and MediSpa from 2006-2008. After moving and working in Chicago for a plastic surgeon for the past few years, Eva has returned to Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa. She specializes in the more advanced facial injectible techniques. Eva is currently a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses.
Kristine Kloehn, Medical Esthetician
Kristine is Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa's Patient Care Coordinator. She offers one-on-one consultations and assists clients with customized treatment plans and product options. Her goal is to provide optimal results for each client's needs within their budget. She also performs various aesthetic services, such as chemical peels, customized facials, HydraFacials, and more. Kristine has a bachelor's degree in Art Therapy/Psychology from Mt. Mary College and is a graduate of the Alexander Thomas School of Aesthetics. Prior to joining the staff at Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa, Kristine had been a practicing aesthetician, managed a medical spa, and worked for a plastic surgeon coordinating the care of patients and performing aesthetic treatments.
Rita Sweeney, BS, Medical Esthetician
At Wisconsin Vein Center and MediSpa, Rita is our expert medical esthetician. She performs all of the facial esthetic treatments as well as Laser Hair Removal, body contouring and Fotofacial Rejuvenation. Rita is a native of Lithuania, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Vilnius University. Rita moved to the United States in 1997, and graduated from the Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness in 2000. Prior to coming to the MediSpa in 2005, Rita worked for a private physician specializing in aesthetic and laser treatments.
Jolanta Juozaityte, Medical Esthetician
Jolanta is one of Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa's qualified Medical Eshteticians. She performs aesthetic treatments such as chemical peels, Dermasound treatments, Hydrafacials, and customized facials. She is also expertly trained in skin tightening, skin rejuvenation, laser hair removal, and body contouring. Jolanta was born and raised in Lithuania and studied nursing at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences in Kaunas. Once in the U.S., Jolanta attended and graduated from Aveda school in 1998. Before joining the staff of WVCMS, Jolanta had experience performing medical aesthetics and laser treatments at various other establishments.
Marcia Worm, RTR
Marcia graduated from the Deaconess Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in 1977. At Wisconsin Vein center and MediSpa, Marcia is our ultrasound specialist and performs diagnostic ultrasound evaluations. She also assists in ELTs and other surgical procedures. She has 17 years experience in ultrasound imagining. Her experience includes special procedure technologist, cardiovascular catheterization lab technologist and vascular ultrasound specialist. Certifications include registered radiologic technologist.
Joy Peterson, RVS, RVT
Joy has worked in health care since 1977, first as a medical assistant and then as a cardiac stress technician. She entered the field of vascular ultrasound in 1984. Joy became credentialed as a registered vascular technologist in 1986, working in a hospital setting for 10 years, in a vascular surgical practice and then as technical director of a vascular lab in an outpatient clinic. Joy was on the faculty of a vascular ultrasound training program in Chicago for six years. She has been a long-time member of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound and was appointed to a position on the Board of Directors of the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories in 2006. Joy currently serves on the Vascular Forum for the American Society of Echocardiography.
Jane Hinn, Sonographer, RVT
Jane graduated from Moraine Park Technical Institute’s Nursing Program in 1977 and attended California College of Allied Health Professions, where she received her associate’s degree in respiratory therapy. She then continued her studies at The Burwin Institute of Diagnostic Ultrasound, where she completed studies in vascular and cardiac ultrasound. Jane is a registered cardiovascular sonographer with over 25 years of extensive experience in both invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular testing with expertise in all facets of Venous Vascular disease. She is a member of the Society of Vascular Ultrasound and the American Society of Echocardiography.
