For many, cellulite starts to show on the thighs, arms, and buttocks as they get older. This can cause people to feel self-conscious and embarrassed. Cellulite is very common, but that does not mean that it has to be lived with. So many women try different diets, exercises, and treatments to get rid of their cellulite and with no avail. Now there is a solution. Here at Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa, we are offering Emtone.

What is Emtone?

Emtone is a non-surgical treatment that was specifically designed with your stubborn cellulite problems in mind. This device helps to tighten and tone skin while getting rid of cellulite and improving skin laxity—all without surgery. This treatment is done in-office with no pain and no downtime. It uses targeted acoustic wave massage with radiofrequency to achieve great results. Emtone can be used on multiple parts of the body including the thighs, buttocks, arms, and abdomen.

How Does Emtone Work?

Most cellulite treatments focus on just one aspect of what causes cellulite, but there are various factors that contribute to it. Enlarged fat chambers, collagen fibers, poor blood flow, loss of skin elasticity, and metabolic waste accumulation all have a part in cellulite. Emtone addresses all of these concerns. The device will be placed onto the area and simultaneously emit radiofrequency energy with targeted acoustic wave massage . The energy waves disrupt and stimulate the skin. Radiofrequency energy warms the skin so that the collagen starts to undergo structural changes. Over the next couple of months, new collagen is produced which leads to improvement with skin texture, laxity, and cellulite.

Who is a Candidate for Emtone?

Anyone who wishes for skin tightening or some mild body contouring of stubborn fat areas can benefit from Emtone. If you have poor skin texture that you wish to address without surgical intervention, then this is a great option for you. Emtone works better on younger patients with mild-to-moderate skin laxity since their skin will respond better to the treatment.

Unlike other skin tightening and cellulite procedures, there is absolutely no downtime with Emtone. Patients can resume all normal activities right away.
