How it Works

Dr. Manjoney was one of the first physicians in Wisconsin to perform endovenous procedures on the saphenous vein, the superficial vein responsible for most varicose veins.

She has been performing endovenous laser closures since 2002. Since this procedure only requires an injection of diluted local anesthetic, it has revolutionized the treatment of varicose veins.

No longer are painful vein stripping procedures required with long recovery times and loss of work. Varithena (polidocanol injectable foam) is a prescription medicine used to treat varicose veins, caused by problems with the great saphenous vein (GSV) and other related veins in the leg’s GSV system. It helps improve the symptoms of heaviness, achiness, swelling, throbbing, and itching related to or caused by varicose veins and the appearance of varicose veins.
