COVID19 Update

/COVID19 Update

4/1/2020 Update:

As many of you are aware, on March 16th, we announced the temporary closing of our facility for the health of our patients, employees and their families, and the community at large.  Obviously the state of the situation changes daily and because of the announcement from the President, we will continue to be closed until the end of April.

Be assured that we will let you know as soon as we have clarity and it is safe to see patients again.  Our team is committed to do everything we can so you can be seen in our office in a timely manner once we resume services.

For now, a team member will be contacting all clients with appointments scheduled in April to get them rescheduled.  If you need to call us back, please be patient; we will get back to you as soon as possible.  We apologize for any inconvenience, but we are attempting to do our part for everyone’s well-being.

There is good news though – we want you to be able to maintain healthy skin care habits, so we are still “open” for product ordering with FREE shipping via our website:  Your continued support of Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa is most appreciated.

We wish you and your family health and safety during these uncertain times.  Thank you for your flexibility and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

The entire WVCM family

A message to our patients:

We are all very concerned about the COVID-19 pandemic, as I am sure you are.  We cannot proceed with daily life in the usual fashion.  Unfortunately, I have made a difficult decision to close the practice at Wisconsin Vein Center and MediSpa for at least the next 3 weeks. I know that canceling appointments may lead to inconvenience, frustration and anger, and I hope that you will understand why we must do this.  I feel that as a physician, I must put the health of our patients, employees and their families, and the community at large before our own convenience or profit.  The health of our society is the priority.  Elective procedures should all be delayed in this environment, and medical supplies reserved for the seriously ill.  We have never before faced a community health risk like this novel virus.  The medieval plague and the Spanish Flu of 1918 are the closest.  But worldwide travel has made this potentially an even more dangerously widespread situation.  Social distancing is the only option we have for effectively slowing the spread of this disease so that our health care facilities will not be overwhelmed and unable to prevent more loss of life.  If we implement this now, before the situation is out of hand, we may be able to flatten out the curve of the spread.

We will be working behind the scenes during this hiatus to improve our policies and procedures and to do a deep sanitization of our space.  We will also be available to see anyone with a true concern. Our phone lines will be checked frequently, and our online store, the MediSpa Marketplace, will be available for purchasing product.  All shipping fees will be waived.

We appreciate your patronage, and look forward to the day we reopen our doors to provide an even better experience than you have enjoyed in the past.

Please heed all public health urgings to limit your exposure to others, and to refrain from traveling.  Social responsibility is difficult and a bit scary.   But the threat if we do not take this seriously is even more frightening. We must all work together to preserve the overall health of our community and our country.
