Hair loss and thinning plague more than 56 million Americans. If you’ve experienced it, you probably know it can be frustrating when it feels like nothing works. Fortunately, there’s no need to hide it! After years of extensive research, KeraLase™ is available to restore thinning hair using five key bioidentical growth factors. This treatment is a combination of the LaseMD™ laser paired with Kerafactor™ serum, which utilizes a proprietary formula of biomimetic growth factors wrapped in a nano-liposome casing, allowing for superior penetration into the hair follicle and excellent results. We’re proud to offer this effective option so you can feel like the best, most youthful version of yourself again.

The Hair Restoration Procedure

Our hair restoration treatment protocol at Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa involves directing a LaseMD™ laser to the scalp before applying Kerafactor™ Serum to the scalp once every two weeks over the course of 12 weeks. By the end of this treatment, patients should see increased hair shaft size, improved fullness and hair density, and better overall scalp health. Hair growth as a result of KeraLase™ looks completely natural.

Step One: LaseMD™

During the first step of this procedure, your specialist will direct the LaseMD™ laser to the scalp. This factional thulium laser creates micro-channels in the scalp and helps to stimulate the hair follicles, which allows for increased absorption of Kerafactor™ Serum. LaseMD™ is a gentle laser system which is also used for anti-aging facial treatments. The process is virtually painless and requires no downtime – No numbing cream or cooler needed!

Step Two: Kerafactor™ Serum

After the LaseMD™ process is complete, Kerafactor™ is massaged into the scalp. Kerafactor™ is a proprietary serum which is used to introduce biomimetic growth factors and proteins to the scalp, stimulating hair rejuvenation through improved circulation and overall health for the scalp. After extensive studies, scientists have discovered that most patients who experience hair loss and thinning lack specific growth factors. Kerafactor™ reintroduces these growth factors to the scalp using the advanced serum formula.

Who is a Candidate for KeraLase™?

Most patients who experience thinning or hair loss are candidates for this hair restoration treatment. This includes patients who have previously received hair transplants and want to promote healthy growth and progress from their transplanted hair. However, some patients with certain health concerns may not be good candidates; those who have skin cancer, active infection, and certain types of alopecia.  Before you book your treatment, we will review your health and the cause for your hair loss to determine if Hair Restoration with LaseMD™ &  KeraLase™ is a suitable option for you.
