Dysport is a neuromodulator, which means that it is in the same category as products like Botox Cosmetic. When injected, Dysport temporarily reduces muscle activity to reduce dynamic wrinkles around the eyebrows. Patients who receive Dysport injections can still freely make facial expressions, but softer movement reduces wrinkles such as frown lines. Dysport results look completely natural, and the injections require no downtime.
Xeomin
Like Botox or Dysport, Xeomin is a neuromodulator (neurotoxin) injectable which softens dynamic wrinkles or frown lines by reducing facial muscle movement. Xeomin is a highly purified neurotoxin which can be used for moderate to severe wrinkles and lines between the eyebrows, also known as frown lines or glabellar lines. While similar to other neuromodulator injectables, some patients or injectors may choose Xeomin based on personal preference, budget, or other factors.
