BBL (broadband light) treatments are popular options to reduce signs of aging, unwanted hair, or pigmentation issues. Now, Sciton has introduced the BBL HERO, a new BBL technology that is highly effective in treating virtually any area of the body faster than other options. Wisconsin Vein Center and MediSpa is proud to offer this advanced laser treatment option to our patients.
What is BBL HERO?
BBL HERO is a broadband light treatment that combines the BBL Forever Young and BBL Forever Body technologies for a light treatment that can be used anywhere on the body with improved versatility. BBL HERO works four times faster than previous BBL technologies and results in smoother, clearer, and more youthful skin.
How Does BBL HERO Work?
The BBL HERO laser gently heats the upper layers of the skin. This stimulates skin cells in targeted areas to regenerate, resulting in a clearer, more even appearance. HERO stands for “High Energy Rapid Output,” meaning that the light energy from the laser is administered at a faster pace compared to other BBL lasers. While the energy is delivered at a high intensity, the procedure is non-ablative, meaning that it does not break the skin.
BBL HERO is an effective treatment for:
- Sun damage
- Age spots
- Fine lines
- Facial redness and rosacea
- Pigmented lesions
- Unwanted hair
The BBL HERO procedure requires no anesthesia and is very comfortable compared to other laser treatments. Treatments can be completed in as little as five minutes, making BBL HERO a popular “lunchtime” procedure. Most patients will require multiple treatment sessions to reach their ideal results, but the technology is noted to work four times faster than other BBL treatments.
Not only is the BBL HERO at Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa an excellent treatment option for correction and repair, but it is an effective “prejuvenation” treatment as well. This new technology is extremely effective in maintaining healthy skin and slowing the signs of aging (e.g. laxity, pigmented and vascular lesions, uneven skin tone, and textural changes). Whatever your current age, you can reduce further aging changes with regular treatments!
When BBL HERO is used in this preventative manner, lower settings and more conservative parameters are used. Harnessing the power of BBL HERO regularly will promote the maintenance of epidermal structures, contributing to the preservation of healthy skin and a more youthful appearance. Your clinician may recommend additional preventative treatments to maintain your amazing results.
Who is a Candidate for BBL HERO?
Most patients who have one or more concerns that are treatable with BBL HERO are good candidates for the procedure. Unlike other laser procedures, this includes those with tan skin tones. You should be in good overall health before choosing BBL HERO. Prior to treatment, Dr. Manjoney and our team will determine whether you are a good candidate for BBL HERO or if you are better suited to another treatment we offer.
Why Choose Wisconsin Vein Center and MediSpa?
Wisconsin Vein Center and MediSpa are led by Dr. Manjoney, a physician who worked for years as a cardiac and thoracic surgeon before gaining interest in cosmetic treatments. Our team also includes experienced physicians, physicians assistants, and nurses who have received training in BBL HERO in addition to many other cosmetic procedures. Our goal is to offer the best possible results through effective treatment options.
