What is Sofwave

Sofwave is an FDA-approved ultrasound device that delivers a specific technology known as Synchronous Ultrasound Parallel Beam (SUPERB) into the skin. It applies targeted fractional heat to the dermis while also protecting the skin’s surface with a cooling mechanism. By heating the dermis, the treatment increases collagen production, lifts and tightens the skin, addresses cellulite, and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving you a smoother and more youthful appearance.
Who is a Good Candidate for Sofwave?
Sofwave works on all skin types, which makes it a great solution for many people, but ideal candidates typically meet the following criteria:

How Sofwave Works
Prior to Sofwave treatment, we will have you apply topical anesthetic ointment to ensure your comfort. After about an hour, we will cleanse your face, apply ultrasound gel, and apply Sofwave device to the skin. As the ultrasound energy is delivered to the deep layers of the skin, you’ll likely feel some warmth, but beyond that, you shouldn’t feel any discomfort.
In total, treatment takes anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes, and we typically recommend 1-2 treatment sessions to achieve the best results.

There is no downtime with Sofwave treatment. You can return to your daily routine immediately.
As for results, you may start to notice improvements to the treatment area in the first few weeks after treatment, but it can take up to 12 weeks for the collagen to regenerate and build up, giving you the smoother, tighter, and younger-looking skin you desire. The results can last up to a year, with repeated treatment needed to maintain the results.
