Fight Wrinkles From the Inside Out

BOOK AN APPOINTMENT

Our facial expressions show the world how we’re feeling, and they eventually lead to lines and wrinkles that can make us feel older.

Available for patients at Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa, Botox® Cosmetic is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a simple, nonsurgical neuromodulator treatment for crow’s feet and forehead lines. Xeomin® and Dysport® were more recently approved to treat frown lines as well. While based on the same botulinum toxin, these formulas are not interchangeable. Our master injectors will help you find the right formula and treatment plan for your specific needs.

What Neuromodulators Treat

Excessive Sweating – Patients with hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, can receive injections in areas like the underarms, hands, feet, or forehead to block the nerve signals that trigger sweating.
Jowls – We can use these formulas for jowl reduction by tightening and lifting the jaw area through careful injection placement.
Eye Wrinkles – The eyes frequently develop wrinkles from repetitive facial movement. Botox calms this movement for reduced wrinkles.
Crows Feet – Our providers can inject Botox near the eye to relax the squinting movement that causes crows feet to develop.
TMJ – TMJ disorder is commonly caused by grinding or tensing the jaw muscles. Botox can help relax these muscles to relieve pain.
Grinding Teeth – When injected into the masseter muscle, Botox can help reduce involuntary or unconscious teeth grinding.
Mouth Lines – Botox can help reduce smile lines around the mouth, such as marionette lines or vertical lip lines.

Types of Neuromodulators Available at Wisconsin Vein Center & Medispa

How BOTOX, Dysport, and Xeomin Work?

During your initial consultation at Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa, our master injectors will discuss which neuromodulator treatment would be ideal for your desired results. Once we recommend a product, we can start your injections.

A treatment by our master injectors, typically take no more than 10 minutes, and include just a few injections with a tiny needle. It takes only a few days for noticeable improvement. The neurotoxin formula temporarily “freezes” their movement and allows the muscles to fully relax.

This results in wrinkles smoothing out, sometimes entirely. The effects of Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin typically last up to 3 to 4 months, though that varies from person to person and formula to formula.
