These side effects are temporary and will diminish shortly after the treatment area becomes numb. After the procedure is completed, some side effects may include swelling, temporary redness, bruising, blanching, firmness, tenderness, stinging, tingling, itching, cramping, aching, or skin sensitivity. If a treatment is performed in the chin and neck area, there may be a feeling of fullness in the back of the throat after its completion. We will schedule a follow up appointment after your treatments to review your progress and discuss whether additional treatments will be needed. It is not required, but to maintain your results, we highly recommend a healthy lifestyle, including proper diet and exercise.
