Teens suffering from unwanted body hair will be relieved to learn that the answer is yes – our laser hair procedure can be used by teens for the removal of body hair. Commonly treated areas include:

If you’re a teen interested in laser hair removal, it’s important to realize that Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa has two caveats about teens undergoing this treatment:
- You need to have written permission from a parent if you’re under the age of 18. There is no exception to this rule.
- You must have already gone through puberty before undergoing this treatment. While this is different from client to client, we generally allow teens as young as 15 to undergo laser hair removal.
Teens should be prepared to undergo more laser hair removal procedures than adults. That’s because hormone peaks and valleys still occur during these years, which can influence the amount of unwanted hair growth. Teen clients should be prepared to undergo more than the usual six treatments.
Laser hair removal can be ideal for teen men, especially those who may get acne around the jawline and on the neck. This kind of acne is often caused by ingrown hairs.
