What is SkinPen Microneedling?
Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa offers SkinPen® Microneedling, an excellent option for rejuvenating and refreshing the skin by jumpstarting your skin’s natural collagen production. During treatment, the SkinPen handpiece creates many micro channels in the skin, causing the skin to create new, healthy cells. SkinPen Microneedling can effectively address many different skin concerns, including acne scars, pigmentation, and aging signs.
For many of our patients, we recommend adding PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) for an additional cost and greater results. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment entails drawing blood from the patient like a standard blood draw at the doctor’s office. This blood sample is then placed into a centrifuge which separates the plasma from the red and white blood cells. Plasma contains a high concentration of stem cells, platelets, and growth factors to help stimulate collagen and elastin production for youthful-looking skin. The addition of PRP from the blood will boost your microneedling treatment and speed up the healing process.
This treatment is a great accompaniment to your regular skincare regimen and can be performed in a unique package of treatments. Schedule your complimentary consultation today!
