What BOTOX® Treats

Glabellar Lines – Moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows develop from repetitive facial expressions like squinting and frowning. These fine lines can be smoothed with BOTOX® treatments.
Crow's Feet – Our expert injectors can inject BOTOX® near the eye to relax the squinting movement that causes crows feet to develop.
Mouth Lines – BOTOX® can help reduce smile lines around the mouth, such as marionette lines or vertical lip lines.
TMJ/Grinding Teeth – TMJ disorder is commonly caused by grinding or tensing the jaw muscles. BOTOX® can help relax these muscles to relieve pain.
Excessive Sweating – Patients with hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, can receive injections in areas like the underarms, hands, feet, or forehead to block the nerve signals that trigger sweating.

How Does BOTOX® Work?

During your initial consultation at Wisconsin Vein Center & MediSpa, our master injectors will create a BOTOX® treatment plan that is ideal for your desired results. Once we recommend treatment area(s), we can start your injections.

A treatment by our master injectors typically takes no more than 10 minutes and includes just a few injections with a tiny needle. It takes only a few days for noticeable improvement and there are few side effects other than mild tenderness and bruising around the injection site. The botulinum toxin formula temporarily “freezes” facial muscles and allows them to fully relax so that they can no longer crease the skin. This results in wrinkles smoothing out, sometimes entirely. BOTOX® injections typically last up to 3 to 4 months, though that varies from person to person.
